SUMMARY:Commissioning of Kitengela Campus Chill Zone Facility
DESCRIPTION:To mark this remarkable milestone for the Campus and publicize the facility\, the director Kitengela Campus formed a campus sub-committee to plan and budget for the commissioning of the chill zone. The sub-committee concluded the assignment and settled on  9th June 2023 \, morning session as the appropriate time and day for the function. Further\, it is on this basis that the sub-committee has forwarded this paper to the University Events committee for consideration and approval in consideration of the set timeline.

DESCRIPTION:The Directorate of Special Projects & Alumni Relations under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor & CEO\, propels KCA University to its goals by fostering University Advancement\, Partnerships and promoting meaningful Stakeholder Engagements among the university’s internal and externalcommunities.\nKCA University in partnership with the Standard Chartered Bank has organized an Environmental Sustainability Project “Tree Planting Initiative” on Friday\, 23rd June 2023. The Event will take place at the KCAU Kitengela land.\nThe University intends to partake in this exercise as a soft launch for a mega Tree Planting activity which will take place at a later date once the perimeter wall project has been completed.\nThe Tree Planting Initiative is one of the many other initiatives geared towards celebrating KCAU@10 since it became a chartered University in 2013. To this end\, I wish to invite staff\, students and alumni to join us in this noble and worthy cause.

The event will take place at Conference Hall C from 10am to 1pm. \nThe theme of the event is #PEOPLE FIRST\, highlighting the importance of stopping stigma and discrimination while strengthening prevention efforts.
