Campus Opening Hours

The library provides general information services to all customers. A reference librarian is stationed at each floor to assist customers. The reference and information services include:​​​​

Reference & Information Services

    • Instruction and help in using library and its resources through tours, training, handouts, and assistance at a reference point.​​
    • Help in determining where to look for information reference works, or databases might best meet your needs.​
    • Help with using electronic catalogue, databases and journals​
    • Help with making loan requests.​

Circulation Services

All registered students and staff may borrow library materials subject to the lending regulations indicated in the circulation policy. Those who wish to borrow and use books outside the library must have paid the refundable caution fee. For returns, a book chute is provided at the right side next to the Library entrance for after-hours book drop.​

Customer Training & Orientation Services

All registered students and staff may borrow library materials subject to the lending regulations indicated in the circulation policy. For returns, a book chute is provided at the right side next to the Library entrance for after-hours book drop.​ Training sessions are presented in the library seminar room wing C ground floor. The main purpose is to increase information literacy, which enables learners to master content and extend their investigations, become more self-directed, and assume greater control over their own learning. The major areas of training include:

  • KOHA – OPAC
  • Basic library skills
  • Conducting research on the internet
  • Subject databases and Electronic Journals
  • Basic information on navigating the library facility and services.
  • Basic Information literacy skills​​​

Computer, Internet, Photocopying & Printing Services

The Library has computers specifically meant for research and accessing library material. The library has in-built network link and reliable wireless internet access. Photocopying and printing services are available within the library at a fee.
