KCA University has today renewed its strategic partnership with AA Kenya, reaffirming a shared commitment to excellence, innovation and service in shaping a future-ready community of students, staff and its alumni.

Since its inception, the collaboration has delivered measurable impact, with 295 students trained through subsidized, NTSA-compliant driver training. This initiative has not only equipped learners with practical, lifelong skills but has also enhanced their employability, mobility and independence in an increasingly dynamic economy.
With the renewed partnership, these benefits will now extend more intentionally across the wider KCA University community.
In today’s context, driving has evolved beyond a basic competency to become a critical economic enabler, supporting access to opportunity across multiple sectors and geographies.
The partnership also offers exposure to the global mobility landscape through initiatives such as the Best Young Driver (BYD) Contest, which promotes road safety, excellence, and international engagement. In addition, beneficiaries will have access to essential travel documentation, including the International Driving Permit (IDP), further positioning them for regional and global opportunities.

Speaking during the renewal, Vice Chancellor Isaiah I. C. Wakindiki affirmed the broader value of the collaboration:
“Driving today is not just a skill; it is an economic enabler that opens pathways to opportunity, entrepreneurship, and independence.”
This renewed partnership reflects KCA University’s commitment to holistic, inclusive and industry-aligned engagement, where learning extends beyond the classroom and continues across the full academic and professional lifecycle.
By integrating practical skills development with global exposure and lifelong value, the University continues to strengthen its position as an institution that not only educates, but also empowers its entire community to thrive, locally and globally.
