Course Overview

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive broad-based education that develops academicians, business professionals, analysts and data scientists, and project managers to effectively and efficiently use Excel in solving more complex formulas and functions, create and analyze pivot tables and charts, and automate tasks using macros. The goal is to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge to effectively use Microsoft Excel for data management, analysis, and visualization.

Entry Qualifications

To be eligible for admission, the applicant must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Have Basic Excel skills.
Teaching methodology
The course will be delivered through a combination of face-to-face and online/virtual sessions, utilizing the university's Learning Management System (LMS) and a range of technologies. The coursework will be covered through the following approaches;
  • Interactive Excel assessments
  • Hands-on practice and demonstrations
  • Practical project
  • Peer Discussions & Sharing
  • Real life data

Program Duration & Structure

To be considered for the award of the certificate of Merit, a candidate is required to enroll and complete the program over not less than 16 weeks of study and each week shall consist of 8 lecture hours.

  • Weekends (Friday 5:30 to 8:30 PM) Saturday 10:00 AM – 13:00 PM) – Online Mode of delivery
