Profile

Lyn Mengich is an experienced Board member, Business leader and Human Resource management professional with over 25 years cross– industry experience in private and Public sector, holding strategic leadership positions in Kenya, East Africa and Africa, as well as Board positions in Kenya. She is the Chairperson Salaries and Remuneration commission and also a member of the KCA University Governing council. She has previously held Board positions at Jami Bora Bank, Sovereign Group and National Social Security Fund (NSSF). Her vast experience as a strategic Human Resource leader includes; Talent and Change Manager for Shell oil products Africa, Regional HR Manager for 11countries in the East Africa Region, HR Director for Barclays Bank, HR Director Kenya Commercial Bank, and HR Director for Smith Kline Beecham -East Africa.

In her extensive career, Lyn has been instrumental in bringing strategic change to organizations, ensuring fit for purpose strategy and good corporate governance. She also has an excellent track record in designing and executing strategy and programs to achieve organization mission, vision and mandate.

Lyn is a fellow of the institute of Human Resource Management Kenya and holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from JKUAT, Executive development program from Cornel University, Advanced management program from Strathmore Business school (SBS) and IESE Business school. She has extensive knowledge in governance, Leadership, management and Human Resource Management from different development programs in and outside the country.
