To achieve this, the Department has formulated strategic objectives, policies, and procedures designed to address crime detection and prevention, establish and maintain effective occupational safety standards and emergency preparedness, create awareness among all University community members, enforce compliance with all relevant safety legislation, and promote a culture of shared security responsibility, accountability, and communication.
