Prof Kieti is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Strategy, Finance and Operations (DVC-SFO) at KCA University.

She is an Associate Professor and tourism expert with over 25 years of experience in teaching, research and consultancy in tourism, wildlife and related fields. Her extensive academic and leadership experience includes serving as Head of the Department of Tourism and Tour Operations Management and Dean of the School of Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management at Moi University. She is currently the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Strategy, Finance and Operations, with a mandate to oversee financing, human resourcing, marketing and branding, ICT, and physical infrastructure development in line with the University’s vision, mission, core values, and strategic direction.

In recognition of her leadership and enterprise in managing the School of Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management, she was awarded the Chancellor’s Excellence in Service Award in December 2017. In September 2020, she was appointed as a Leadership Council Member of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network, Kenya.

The Division of Strategy, Finance and Operations, under the leadership of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, provides strategic direction and oversight for Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing and Branding, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and physical infrastructure development, in alignment with the University’s vision, mission, core values, and strategic direction.
