KCA University Hosts University of Limpopo for an Exchange Program

KCA University faculty and students with delegates from the University of Limpopo during an exchange program on academic collaboration and international engagement.

KCA University had the honour of welcoming a 19-member delegation from the Turfloop Graduate School of Leadership (TGSL), University of Limpopo, South Africa, for an engaging exchange program held on 30th September 2025.

The visit formed part of TGSL’s annual international exposure program and was designed to broaden perspectives for MBA, Master of Public Administration and Management (MPAM), and Master of Development (MDEV) students. Their objectives were to experience international markets and best management practices, learn from institutions in one of East Africa’s fastest-growing economies and explore opportunities for collaboration with like-minded institutions.

The program began with welcoming remarks from Dr. Jane Njuru, Director of Partnerships and Collaborations, and an overview of KCA University by Prof. Vincent Onywera, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research, Innovation & Outreach. Prof. Maria Kanjere introduced the Turfloop Graduate School of Leadership, while Prof. S.K. Mokoena highlighted TGSL’s vision and programs.

Presentations also showcased KCA University’s strengths, including an introduction to the School of Business by Dean Prof. Christine Nanjala, and insights into the University’s business programs and international engagements by Dr. Fanice Waswa.

A roundtable discussion brought both institutions together to exchange experiences on management practices, leadership, research collaboration and community engagement. Graduate students from both universities participated in lively interactions, followed by a campus tour and networking lunch that provided opportunities to deepen institutional and personal connections.

By welcoming the delegation, KCAU continues to expand its international footprint and position itself as a trusted partner in global academic collaborations. The engagement not only amplified KCA’s visibility but also opened fresh pathways for faculty and student exchanges, joint research and program development.

Speaking after the engagements, participants from both universities emphasized the value of such collaborations in expanding global perspectives and preparing students and faculty to thrive in a dynamic world.
