KCA University Recognised as KASNEB Centre of Excellence

A long-standing collaboration between KCA University and the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) has reached a new milestone, with KCA University being recognised as a KASNEB Centre of Excellence.

The certificate of recognition was presented to the University on 11th September 2026 during the Matriculation Ceremony for the September 2026 cohort, held at the KCA University Ruaraka Campus.

The recognition follows the University’s consistently strong performance in KASNEB examinations and reflects the institutions’ shared commitment to professional training, examination and skills development.

Through the partnership, KCA University offers the full range of KASNEB qualifications, with all its campuses serving as KASNEB-accredited training and examination centres. Candidates can therefore undertake their KASNEB training and sit their examinations within their respective campuses.

The partnership has also opened access to financial support through the KASNEB Foundation. Students enrolled through registered training centres can apply for Foundation loans and grants to support their professional education. To date, the Foundation has supported KCA University students with approximately KSh 13 million.

The collaboration brings together KCA University’s academic environment and KASNEB’s professional examination and certification mandate, providing a platform through which academic and professional learning can complement each other.

The Centre of Excellence status adds to this partnership by recognising KCA University’s performance in KASNEB examinations and its role in professional training.

Presented as the University welcomed the September 2026 cohort, the certificate also provided an opportunity to highlight the place of professional qualifications within the broader higher education landscape.

As the KCA University–KASNEB partnership continues, both institutions remain focused on strengthening professional education and contributing to the development of skilled professionals in accountancy, finance and related fields.
