Alumni Association of KCA University (AAKCAU) Western Chapter was launched on Friday 24 May by Deputy Governor for Kisumu county government H.E, Dr. Mathew Owili and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Noah O. Midamba at a Kisumu Hotel. Dr. Owili was accompanied by his Vihiga counterpart H.E Dr. Patrick Saisi and Lake Region Development Authority Board Chairman Cavince Owidi.
Also present were Kisumu Campus Principal Rogers Abong’o, Alumni and Resource Mobilization Director Susan Aduwo, Alumni Board led by Chairman Bernard Mukundi and Technical Director and Co-founder of SUMU Computers Satwinder Singh who is also an alumnus of KCAU.

Themed “Harnessing Opportunities in the Lake Region,” the forum offered best opportunity for alumni to share ideas and network with academia, business community and regional county leadership.
