Important Dates for September – December 2026 Trimester
The September – December 2026 trimester will officially commence on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
Kindly take note of the following important information:
1. New Students’ Reporting Date
All new students (freshmen) across all programmes are required to report on Wednesday, 26th August 2026; Monday, 31st August 2026 or Wednesday, 2nd September 2026 as indicated in their admission letters at their respective campuses (Ruaraka Campus, Town Campus, Western Campus, and Kitengela Campus). Please refer to your admission letters for registration requirements.
2. Orientation for New Students
Orientation for new students will be held at the Ruaraka Campus, starting Monday, 7th September 2026.
3. Continuing Students’ Reporting Date
All continuing students are expected to report for the new semester on Wednesday, 9th September 2026.
4. Matriculation Ceremony for New Students (September 2026 Cohort)
The matriculation ceremony for the new students (September 2026 cohort) will be held on Friday, 11th September 2026.
5. Classes Commencement Dates
- Day, Evening, and DL programmes: Thursday, 10th September 2026
- Weekend programmes: Saturday, 12th September 2026
6. Pre-registration of Units
All continuing students are advised to pre-register the units they will be taking in trim 3 2026. Note that the pre-registration exercise will commence on 17th August 2026.
7. Trimester Timetable
Trim 3 2026 timetable will be available on the University website to help students pre-register the units smoothly.
